Sept 23, 2023 Assignments -Magic Class - Orange Wand
Remember everyone, watch the videos, reread your instructions. We need to present and teach them the same way as the presentation in the videos. We will follow this pattern:
1. Perform the trick - ALWAYS start with:
"Hi my name is ____, What's yours? (say their name), Would you like to see a magic trick?"
(Say their name, and please and thank you throughout.)
2. Ask if they want to know the secret.
3. Show the VIP video - AJ will talk about the Trait introduced in the video.
4. Share the secret of the trick.
5. Practice, practice, practice. - Everyone will be assigned a group to work with.
Class starts @ 10:30AM each day.
Please arrive 20 mins early, for any final directions or Questions.
If you can, please wear your Camp T-Shirts so the students will recognize you are in charge.
Please eat lunch before you arrive. Please bring a water bottle or something to drink. I will be providing some light snacks.
If you want to perform a favorite trick of yours, that is not in Orange Wand please bring it with you. (This can be ANY trick, not just tricks from my classes. But it MUST be performance ready!) We will make time for you to perform!!! If you don't that's ok too. Please let me know if you have one!

Black Wand Requirements
1. Attend all four Wand Courses and earn:
Purple Wand and Certificate
Green Wand and Certificate
Orange Wand and Certificate
Blue Wand and Certificate
2. Request to earn Black Wand.
3. Volunteer time to Assist with presenting and teaching of:
Purple Wand Course
Green Wand Course
Orange Wand Course
Blue Wand Course
(One of these MUST be a Magic Summer Camp.)
4. Recite the 8 Traits of a True Magician from Memory.
5. Take the Oath of a True Magician
Students who complete these requirements will earn:
Black Wand and Certificate
Black Wand Magic Kit
Title of Magician's Apprentice
*Magician's Apprentice's are welcome to help at any future classes and/or shows.
Progress will be posted on this site as you complete each requirement.
